CUSB Biological science students crack UGC NET / JRF
Many students of Centre for Biological Sciences (CBS) of Central University of South Bihar have cracked prestigious NET / JRF 2017 examination conducted by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The students from Biotechnology, Life – Science and Bioinformatics programmes run under CBS have qualified in UGC – NET / JRF examination conducted in December 2016.
Providing more details CBS Head Dr. Rizwanul Haque said that from Biotechnology programme Archna, Neha and Asha Sahu have qualified in UGC – NET. From Life Science programme Aditi Arora, Shailja Shefali and Monalisa have succeeded in cracking JRF, while Khusbu Sinha and Lokesh Ranjan qualified in NET, added Dr. Haque.
CUSB Vice-Chancellor Prof. Harish Chandra Singh Rathore expressed happiness over the success of students of Biological Sciences department and wished them for a bright career ahead in research. The successful candidates have expressed their gratitude for Prof. Ravindranath Singh Rathore, Dean, School of Earth, Biological and Environmental Sciences, Dr. Rizwanul Haque (Head – CBS), course co-ordinators Dr. Rakesh Kumar (Biotechnology) and Dr. Gautam Kumar (Life Science), and other and faculty members.
