Six students of Biotechnology department qualify in GATE 2020
Many students from the Department of Biotechnology of Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) cleared the GATE 2020 examination. Six students from M.Sc. Biotechnology programme of the University qualified in the national level exam held in the first week of February 2020. The successful students are congratulated by Department head Prof. Rizwanul Haque and other faculty members Prof Durg Vijai Singh, Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Dr. Nitish Kumar, Dr. Krishna Prakash and Dr. Jawaid Ahsan.
Providing details Prof. Rizwanul Haque said that Santoshi Acharjee Ambika Gupta, Tulika, Kundan Kumar, Raj Nandini and Asha Raj cleared GATE 2020 examination with 98.77, 94.5, 93.17, 91.7, and 84.22 percentile, respectively. Puja Kumari, a last year pass out student, has also cleared GATE 2020 by improving her last year performance. Raj Nandini also got selected for Ph.D. programme at prestigious Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai. Prof. Haque stated that students of our department are achieving very high percentile through hard work. He stressed on the fact that overall performance of the students can be improved by reading textbooks and reference books of biotechnology.
