To fight Covid-19 (Corona) CUSB fraternity donates Rs. 5,60,918 into PM CAREs fund
To fight the pandemic of Corona (Covid – 19) the Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) donated Rs. 5,60,918/- into PM CAREs fund. The professors (faculty), officers and staff of the University voluntarily donated one day salary to Prime Minister Relief fund to fight with Corona. On the call of CUSB Vice-Chancellor Prof. H.C.S. Rathore the University fraternity comprised of teachers and staff agreed to donated single day salary from the Month of March 2020. The University tried to fulfill its social responsibility and contributed its bit in nation building by donating the salary.
On recommendation of CUSB Registrar Col. Rajiv Kumar Singh (Retd.) and Finance Officer Mr. Girish Ranjan Rs. 5,60,918/- has been electronically transferred into PM CAREs fund account. The University fraternity is quite elated and satisfied after making the donation that would be utilised for improving the Corona screening, purchase of testing kits, kits for doctors, ventilators, etc. It should be noted that CUSB has always come forward in such calamity and make donation generously in past instances such as floods in Bihar, Kerala and Kashmir.
