Alumni Meet - 2018

The main purpose of getting education shall not be restricted only to getting jobs, instead with the help of knowledge managing the life shall be given priority. Also, we should not restrict our lives and goals towards the achievement of physical amenities (assets), but we should also think towards the welfare of mankind by utilising our knowledge and skills. Such valuable thoughts were shared by CUSB Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof. Om Prakash Rai during the Alumni Meet organised at the University’s Patna campus on Monday, March 26, 2018. 

Presiding the meet, Prof. Rai welcomed the students in his address and lauded the efforts of passed out students as brand ambassador of the University. We are going to shift in our main campus by this July and next Alumni Meet would be organised at large scale at Panchanpur (Gaya) said the Pro Vice-Chancellor with an optimistic note. 

Earlier the programme formally kicked off with the University Anthem presented by the students in the supervision of Ph.D scholar Pratika Kumari. Further the programme progressed with the speech of Pro Vice-Chancellor followed by the speeches of Controller of Examinations (CoE) Mrs. Rashmi Tripathi and Dean Students’ Welfare (DSW) Dr. Sanat Kumar Sharma. On this occasion the CUSB Alumni ordinance prepared by the committee was released.   The ordinance will serve as a guideline for the smooth functioning of the Alumni Association of the University. 

Further the programme was left open for the students in which they enjoy at the fullest amidst the glittering performances like songs, poems, ghazals, etc. The event was compared by old boys Mohammad Azharuddin (M.Sc. Mathematics) and Wali Shabina (MA. Communication &Media Studies). At last, the Alumni greeted each other with heavy hearts and separated with the promise to meet again in the next Alumni, whenever it would take place.
