Orientation Programme for newly enrolled students at CUSB
A special Orientation Programme was organized for the newly enrolled students of Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) at University’s campus on Friday, July 19, 2019. With the Orientation programme the new academic session (2019-20) also kicked off on the same day. Under the guidance of Controller of Examinations (COE) Mrs. Rashmi Tripathi various department heads made adequate arrangements to welcome the newly enrolled students. The orientation programme started with registration and attendance of new students in their respective departments in Science and Social Science buildings followed by the interactive session with the faculty members. The students were briefed about the Choice Based Credit System, Attendance Requirements, Mentor-Mentee facility, Scholarships available and the extra co-curricular provisions offered by the University.
Proceeding ahead, the students get to know about the Central Library and its facilities (services) for the students. Mr. Arshad Ali, Professional Assistant had given a brief presentation about the library services under supervision of Librarian Dr. Pramod Kumar Singh and Deputy Librarian Dr. Pankaj Mathur. Further, Mr. Ashok Kumar Singh, System Analyst had given presentations about the computer laboratory facilities. Along with Orientation on first day of session, the newly admitted students were also given allotments in Boys and Girls hostel of University.
In fact, the students were overwhelmed with the arrangements made by the University for welcoming them. Many students expressed their satisfaction with the hope to have a wonderful experience during their first day of association with CUSB, which is one of the best institutions in the country and featuring in rankings carried at national level.
