Colonel R. K. Singh assumed charge as new Registrar of CUSB on 29th August, 2019
Colonel Rajiv Kumar Singh (Retd.) assumed the charge as the Registrar of Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) on Thursday, August 29, 2019 in the University premises. After officially taking the charge from Acting Registrar Prof. Prabhat Kumar Singh, Colonel R. K. Singh was warm heartedly welcomed by CUSB Vice-Chancellor Prof. Harish Chandra Singh Rathore.
After serving in Indian Army as a Commissioned Officer for over 31 years, Colonel R.K. Singh made a foray into the higher educational institution with CUSB. As General Officer Commanding in Chief Colonel R.K. Singh has been awarded the Commendation Card, which is a type of gallantry award given for distinguished service in the Indian Army. Colonel R. K. Singh is also a proud receiver of Gold Medal from Officers Training Academy (OTA) Gaya.
Donning the degrees namely, B.Tech, M.Tech and M.B.A, Colonel R. K. Singh had joined the Indian Army as a technical graduate. He had looked after the Army legal cases in eight different high courts (HCs) situated in the six states namely, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.
Colonel Singh is the third regular Registrar of CUSB after Dr. Gayathri Vishwanath Patil (23rd February 2016 to October 31, 2018) and Prof. Mohammed Nehal (July 2010 – 31st May, 2015).
