NCC Cadet Sakshi wins debate competition
CUSB student and NCC cadet Sakshi Anand won the online debate competition organized under the aegis of "Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat" weekly camp. A student of the Law Department of the University Sakshi, performed excellently and got the first prize in the competition organized to commemorate the 75th year of Independence of India. The competition was jointly organized by the NCC Directorate of Rajasthan and Bihar-Jharkhand. At CUSB various programs organized in the Independence Day week were led by the Dean of Students’ Welfare (DSW) Prof. Atish Parashar and Dr. Pragya Gupta, Associate Nodal Officer (ANO) of NCC & Assistant Professor of Teacher Education Department. CUSB Vice-Chancellor Professor Kameshwar Nath Singh and Registrar Col Rajiv Kumar Singh congratulated Sakshi for her excellent performance. They also appreciated Dr. Pragya Gupta for her persistent efforts for carrying out the activities under NCC.
Giving more details about the competition, Dr. Pragya Gupta said that Sakshi Anand is a member of 27th Battalion of Bihar NCC in CUSB. Sakshi gave the best performance while presenting her views in the debate competition organized on the topic "Relevance of Constitution in the present context after various amendments" and won the competition.
