CUSB Law students win Best Memorial Award in XI M. K. Nambyar Moot Court competition
A team of students from School of Law & Governance (SLG) of Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) has made the University proud by winning an award in the national level Moot Court competition. The team comprising three students of BA LLB (7th semester) namely, Ashish Ranjan, Rahul Kumar and Toshbant Raj won the Best Memorial Award in the XI M. K. Nambyar Moot Court competition organised by the Raja Lakhamgouda Law College, Belagavi, Karnataka. The winning team has been awarded the cash prize of Rs. 10,000, a trophy and a certificate.
CUSB Vice-Chancellor Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh and Registrar Col. Rajiv Kumar Singh congratulated the winning team and appreciated the faculty members for their guidance and efforts. Prof. P. K. Mishra, Head and Dean of SLG, Prof. S. P. Srivastava, Dr. Pradip Das, Mrs. Poonam Kumari, Dr. Digvijay Singh, Dr. Deo Narayan Singh, Dr. Pallavi Singh, Dr. Anant Prakash Narayan, Mr. Mani Pratap, Dr. Kumari Nitu have also congratulated the students.
The winning team has thanked their faculty members for their support and guidance. The winners have especially expressed their gratitude towards the Moot Court Society of SLG and they are eyeing more-and-more such trophies in the future, said Mr. Mani Pratap, Asst. Prof., Dept. of Law & Governance.
It should be noted that the students of Dept. of Law & Governance frequently use to participate in national Moot Court Competitions and get success in the grabbing the awards including the winner position The students are given adequate amenities accompanied with an accomplished mentorship of experienced professors for growing as an efficient professionals, said Prof. P. K. Mishra, Dean of SLG.
