CUSB team runner up in Moot Court Competition organised by ICFAI Jaipur
The students of the School of Law and Governance of Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) once again highlighted the name of their institution at the national level. A team of law students of CUSB remained the runner-up in the National Virtual Moot Court Competition organised by ICFAI University, Jaipur during 18-19 September, 2021. The CUSB students team composed of Toshbant, Rahul were speakers and Ashish was the researcher. In this competition, a total of 59 teams from all over India took part in this competition organized by them, including students of National Law University. The winning team of CUSB has been congratulated by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh.
Providing details Prof. Pawan Kumar Mishra, Head and Dean, School of Law and Governance said that we are very happy to share that the team consisting of Toshbant, Rahul and Ashish did well and had crossed the first three stages i.e., Pre, Quarter and Semi-final stage and ensured the place in the finals. The team of Toshbant, Rahul and Ashish have been adjudged Runner up in the final match against the team of Jamia Millia Islamia University and won the cash prize of Rs. 7,000. The final round was presided over by Hon'ble Justice of Rajasthan High Court Dr. Pushpendra Singh and he praised the memorial while appreciating the hard work of the team especially in the context of their memorial.
Prof. Sanjay Prakash Srivastava, Faculty Coordinator, Moot Court Society also expressed his happiness over the success of the students and said that they will achieve success in every field through their hard work. The team credited the victory to Prof. (Dr.) Pawan Kumar Mishra and Prof. Sanjay Srivastava. The faculties of School of Law and Governance, Dr. Pradeep Kumar Das, Dr. Digvijay Singh, Dr Deo Narayan Singh, Mrs. Poonam Kumari, Dr. Anant Narayan, Dr. Pallavi Singh, Mr. Mani Pratap and Dr. Kumari Nitu also appreciated the hard work of the students and congratulated them. They expressed their happiness and motivation to do the best in future also.
