CUSB Law students won Writ Drafting Competition
The law students of Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) have once again brought laurels to their University. A team of students of the school of law & governance of the university has won the National Level WRIT drafting competition. Arbind Kumar and Akash Kumar, both students of BA LLB (7th Semester) have secured first position in the WRIT drafting competition organized by School of Law, Christ University, Bangalore. CUSB Vice Chancellor Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh and Registrar Col. Rajiv Kumar Singh have congratulated the winning team and appreciated the professors of the department for their persistent efforts.
Giving detailed information about the competition, Dean of School of Law & Governance, Prof. (Dr.) Pawan Kumar Mishra said that the team has got Rs. 2500/- cash prize for winning the competition. Along with this, awards have been given to the students to learn many aspects related to their career and future career opportunities. He said that Moot Court Society's Co-ordinator Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Prakash Srivastava, Dr. Deo Narayan Singh and Mr. Mani Pratap have consistently guided the students in legal research and probabilistic arguments. Prof. S. P. Srivastava said that the team of CUSB Gaya has secured the first position after a tough competition with 36 participating teams from across the country.
The head of the department, Prof. (Dr.) Pawan Kumar Mishra, along with other professors are Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Srivastava, Dr. Pradeep Kumar Das, Mrs. Poonam Kumari, Dr. Deo Narayan Singh, Dr. Digvijay Singh, Dr. Anant Narayan, Dr. Pallavi Singh, Mr. Mani Pratap and Dr. Kumari Neetu congratulated the students and wished them a bright future.
On the other hand, the winning students thanked the coordinator of the Moot Court Society as well as other faculty members of the department for their continued support and suggestions of possible arguments.
