#Introduction Ceremony organized at CUSB's Boys Hostel, "Gargi Sadan"
Every student must have at least three dreams in his life and I believe that through these three dreams everyone can be successful in his life. First dream you see for yourself, the second dream you see for your parents and family and the third and most important dream you must see for the proper development of your society and this country. These important points were said by the Vice-Chancellor of Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh while addressing the students in the 'Introduction Ceremony' organized at the Boys Hostel (Gargi Sadan) of the University on December 17, 2021.
In his address as the Chief Guest, the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor said that the 'Parichaay Samaroh' is an important program through which affiliation and intimate feeling is developed among the hostel inmates, warded and support staff. He further said that it is very important to dream, condition is dreaming with open eyes and then it is very important to have a goal in life to make it come true. Recalling his hostel days, the Vice Chancellor said that the hostel is not a place of resources but a place of spiritual practice. All the students should be focused towards their goals with honest intention and pure soul. Overwhelmed by the disciplined behavior of the students, the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor stressed that all the students should do such work that they should remain associated with this University throughout their life and develop a sense of belonging towards the institution. He suggested that all the students adopt a tree each on the campus and as long as they are in this institution, take care of their adopted tree so that their association with the University will remain forever.
Earlier, the 'Introduction Ceremony' was formally inaugurated in the Boys Hostel of CUSB by the Vice Chancellor in presence of Dean Students’ Welfare (DSW) Prof. Atish Parashar, Proctor Prof. Umesh Kumar Singh, Chief Warden Dr. Vipin Kumar Singh among many others. Welcoming the guests, Chief Warden Dr. Vipin Kumar Singh said that all of us are engaged in doing creative activities in the hostel under the able guidance of Hon'ble Vice Chancellor. While addressing the students of the hostel, DSW Prof. Atish Parashar said that the University is dedicated to you students in every way, if the student has any kind of problem they should reach to us as we are always available for solving that problem. Proctor Prof. Umesh Kumar Singh introduced the students to the various dimensions of discipline in the university and said that discipline is an essential thing for a better lifestyle. The programme was compared Hostel Warden Dr. Chandan Srivastava and vote of thanks was given by Warden Dr. Lakhwinder Singh. The role of the hostel committee members in making the program a success was commendable.
During the introduction ceremony, the Vice-Chancellor as well as the guests present interacted with the student. Students of Boys Hostel Nachiket and Rahul, Student President Aditya Tiwari and Vice President Mohd. Danish Sarwar, and undergraduate and postgraduate students introduced themselves. On this occasion, along with the warden, members of the Proctorial Board, members of the Anti-Ragging Committee, hostel staff and professors, research scholars and students of many departments were present.
