CUSB Agriculture students showcase Innovative Rural Marketing Strategies, April 16, 2026
Students from the Department of Agriculture at the Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) presented innovative and practical strategies for marketing agricultural products in rural areas, as part of the Agribusiness Management module included in their curriculum. This exhibition was organized by CUSB's Department of Commerce and Business Studies, showcasing creative and practical marketing techniques developed by the students.
The event was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Rajnarayanan S., Associate Professor and Course Module Director. Prof. Avneesh Prakash Singh, Head of the Department of Agriculture, welcomed the faculty members and, while addressing the students, remarked that such exhibitions are immensely helpful in fostering students' practical knowledge and their understanding of real-world scenarios. Dr. Rajnarayanan S. shed detailed light on the various challenges encountered in the marketing of agricultural products—particularly within rural markets—and encouraged the students to develop innovative solutions.

A total of nine student groups participated in the exhibition, demonstrating various unique strategies aimed at enhancing the marketing of agricultural products. The projects were evaluated by Dr. Pawas Kumar, Dr. Pradeep Ram, and research scholar Ms. Shruti, who commended the participants for their efforts and creativity. This exhibition proved to be an effective platform for students to bridge the gap between theoretical studies and practical application within the field of agribusiness.
