A webinar on “Navigating Regulatory Affairs: Trends, Practices and Industry Insights” was successfully organised by the Department of Pharmacy under the School of Health Science, Central University of South Bihar, in association with the Pharmakon Club. Prof. D. Sreedhar from Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, MAHE delivered the expert talk. He elaborated on the current landscape of pharmaceutical regulatory affairs and emerging career opportunities. The speaker highlighted recent industry trends, compliance requirements, and the importance of regulatory strategies in drug development and approval processes. The lecture also guided participants on career opportunities and the skills needed to excel in regulatory affairs. 

The program was conducted under the patronage of the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh. The Chairperson of the event, Prof. Subrat Kumar Bhattamisra, Dean, School of Health Science, has delivered the welcome address and the webinar was convened by Prof. Vivek Dave, Head of the Department of Pharmacy. The vote of thanks was delivered by the organising secretary, Dr Arun Kumar, while Dr Gireesh Kumar Singh and Dr Bibhash Chandra Mohanta served as members of the organising committee. The webinar witnessed enthusiastic participation of more than 100 students, research scholars, and faculty members, making it an engaging and impactful academic interaction. Participants also appreciated the relevance of the topic and the expert insights shared during the session. Participants expressed that such academic initiatives play an important role in bridging the gap between academia and industry while enhancing the professional competencies of students.
