The Department of Geography, established in the year 2022 with the effort of Hon’able Vice- Chancellor Prof. K.N. Singh of this university in the School of Earth, Biological and & Environmental Sciences and was inaugurated on 16 November 2022. The Department is offering Five Year Integrated UG-PG Programme, M.A/M.Sc. and Ph.D. Programme in Geography. The Department of Geography has rapidly emerged as a hub of academic and research excellence, achieving remarkable milestones within a short time since its inception. The department strategic initiatives, emphasis on skill-building, and alignment with NEP-2020 underscore its dedication to advancing the discipline of Geography.
