International Women's Day Celebration at School of Physical and Chemical Sciences, March 08, 2025


The International Women’s Day was celebrated by the School of Physical and Chemical Sciences, Central University of South Bihar, Gaya which provided a forum for collective action and collaboration in campaigning for women’s rights and empowerment, breaking down barriers for women and girls. The significance of International Women’s Day stems from its potential to raise awareness about topics such as gender equality, reproductive rights, and violence and abuse against women.

The Head of the department, Prof. Venktesh Singh, welcomed and gave wishes for the Women’s day. He emphasized on the giving equality from childhood from home itself. Dr. Mouni Roy told females to gain respect by their own hard work. Prof. Amiya Priyam told to make use of the opportunities available specially in Science. The research scholars, the PG students and Ug students of the school also expressed their views. The faculty members of the school were also present. It served as a platform for recognition and celebration, emphasizing the importance of collective action and awareness in the pursuit of gender equality
