Guest Lecture on ‘Marketing in the Era of AI’ by Dr. Lokesh Jindal
The Department of Commerce and Business Studies, Central University of South Bihar organized lecture on “Marketing in the Era of AI” as part of convocation lecture series on 10th March 2025. The lecture was targeted to explain the students about the integration of AI in the marketing. The program was inaugurated with lightening of lamp, Kulgeet of the university and felicitation of guests. Head of department Prof. Brajesh Kumar welcomed all the guests and participants in the program and gave a brief concept note of the lecture series. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh congratulated the department for choosing very relevant topic as we are living in the era of LPG and IT where ultimate aim of Viksit Bharat is also integration of technology for development.
Tehe esteemed guest speaker Prof. Lokesh Jindal, Associate Professor, JNU, New Delhi, began his lecture with building the foundation of marketing and linking it with Artificial Intelligence. He mentioned that needs, wants and demands are being targeted by the marketers with help of digital space. Focusing on the importance of AI he explained that authenticity and relevance of data has increased in digital space with reduced cost burden on the companies. He also explained that companies need to focus on emotional values rather than functional values to get the competitive benefits in the market. He also answered the queries of the participants towards the end of the lecture.
Assistant Prof. Mrs. Renu, program co-ordinator, gave the concluding remarks and thanked all the guests and participants for the active participation in the program. Assistant Prof. Dr. Pawas Kumar, and Dr. Rachana Vishwakarma were co-ordinator of the program. Associate Prof. Dr. Rajanarayanan and Assistant Prof. Dr. Pradip Ram were also present in the program. Aishwarya and Pragati were anchoring the programs. All the students of M.com, B.com, BBA-LLB, and research scholars were present in the program.
