CUSB Law Researcher Akhilesh secured third position in the conference at IIT Kharagpur

Akhilesh Kumar Upadhyay, a research scholar of School of Law and Governance (SLG), Central University of South Bihar (CUSB), secured third position in the presentation of research paper in the Masters Conference on Intellectual Property (MCIP 5.0) conference held at IIT Kharagpur during March 29-30, 2025. Many legal experts and intellectual property rights experts, researchers and educationists from all over the country participated in this prestigious conference. Researcher Akhilesh achieved this feat by participating in the national conference organized by Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law, IIT Kharagpur, under the research guidance of Prof. Pradeep Kumar Das of SLG. Vice Chancellor Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh, Registrar Prof. Narendra Kumar Rana along with other professors of SLG congratulated and wished Akhilesh.

Public Relations Officer (PRO) Mohammad Mudassir Alam said that Prof. Akhilesh, a research student under the supervision of Pradeep Kumar Das, presented his research paper on 'Legal Protection of Indigenous Music: Challenges and Opportunities in India' at the prestigious conference. Akhilesh's research paper was appreciated for its deep analytical approach and ability to present practical solutions to theoretical problems. The researcher attributed this achievement to his research guide Prof. Pradeep Kumar Das, whose constant guidance and inspiration made this work possible.
