Six students of CUSB got job placement with IB Global Academy at a starting package of four lakhs
The multinational IB Global Academy (Gurugram) located in Delhi & NCR organized a placement drive for students studying in the final semester of various postgraduate (PG) courses at Central University of South Bihar (CUSB). Under the patronage of CUSB Vice Chancellor Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh, the placement drive was organized for the final year postgraduate (PG) students who will pass out in 2025. CUSB Public Relation Officer (PRO) cum Placement Officer Mohammad Mudassir Alam said that about 100 students of Economics, English, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science and Applied Statistics, Biotechnology, Life Science and Environmental Science participated in the placement drive.
The hiring team of IP Global Academy include Shahbaz Shirazi (Founding Partner), Sahir Khan (Founding Director), Mohammad Sohrab Khan (HR Consultant) and Imran Ahmad (Academic Coordinator). After the tests and personal interviews, six students namely Kalyani Singh (Biotechnology), Govinda Sharma (Economics), Dhanashree S (English), Surabhi Kumari (English), Tripti Suman (Environmental Science) and Vikas Kumar Pandit (Statistics) have been offered jobs. While six other students are waitlisted namely Nancy Priya (Chemistry), Satyajit Sahu (Chemistry), Sourav Ranjan Seth (Chemistry), Anantya Anand (Economics), Muskan Gupta (English) and Manita Mahato (English). In case any of the students from the final selected list withdraw the offer, the waitlisted students will be offered jobs. The finally selected candidates will be offered jobs as faculty with a starting package of around Rs. 4 (four) lakhs per annum along with other additional benefits. The selected students will be expected to join the Head Office in Gurugram by July - August 2025 where they will be trained and get an opportunity to work as faculty of the respective subject.
Earlier the placement drive was conducted at Computer laboratory with a pre-placement introductory talk at the computer laboratory of CUSB followed by a written test. Mohammad Sohrab Khan said that we are thankful to the CUSB VC Prof. K. N. Singh and the Placement Cell for their positive response to allow us to conduct our first campus drive in the University. We are expecting a large number of students to join us and encourage us to visit CUSB again. We also thank the research student volunteers of the Department of Economics, Ankit Raj, Shatrughan Behera, Amit Kumar Sinha and Vikrant Kumar for their valuable support in conducting the placement drive smoothly.
