Delegation of Shri Sai Baba Adarsh Mahavidyalaya, Chhattisgarh visited CUSB, May 05, 2025
A delegation comprised of faculty members and students of Shri Sai Baba Adarsh Mahavidyalaya, Chhattisgarh made a visit to CUSB to take stock of the 300 acre green campus and resources of the University. Designed to provide comprehensive academic exposure under the guidance of Vice Chancellor Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh, the visit provided the participants valuable information about the infrastructure, research facilities and academic offerings of the University. Prof. Prabhat Ranjan, Head, Department of Computer Science, warmly welcomed the guests by introducing the mission and academic programs of the department. Dr. Nemi Chandra Rathore coordinated and presented an engaging presentation on CUSB’s curriculum, admission process and the importance of Common University Entrance Test (CUET) as a gateway to academic excellence. Other faculty members of the department Dr. Jaianath Yadav, Dr. Mrityunjay Kumar Singh and Dr. Prakash Kumar along with research scholars actively participated in discussions with the guest faculty and students and enriched the experience with their expertise.
The guests were then given a tour of the university. In the server room of the Admin Block, System Analyst Mr. Ashok Kumar Singh explained about IT infrastructure and system management. The participants explored the Computer Science Laboratory, where they got a first-hand experience of advanced research facilities. The visit to the GIS and Remote Sensing Laboratory enhanced their knowledge about spatial data technologies. In the Geology Laboratory, Head of the Department of Geology Prof. Prafulla Kumar Singh along with faculty members and scholars introduced the students to various geological models and research methodologies. In the Rajarshi Janak Central Library, Librarian Dr. Pramod Kumar Singh and his team shared information about the major resources, books and pedagogical tools available for research. In the Media Lab in the Department of Mass Communication and Media, Dean and Head of the Department Prof. K. Shiv Shankar and faculty members provided an in-depth overview of media studies and emerging communication technologies. The study tour concluded with an immersive campus walkthrough, allowing participants to experience CUSB's modern infrastructure, eco-friendly initiatives, and dynamic academic environment. This rich interaction fostered in-depth learning, collaboration, and inspiration, providing visitors with invaluable experiences and academic connections.
