Writing is the art of expressing emotions in solitude, Mrs. Renu Hussain

Inspired by the vision of multi-faceted educational development developed in the campus by Vice Chancellor of Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh, a special literary event was organized by the Spic-Macay Heritage Club and Renaissance Student Study Circle of the University on the occasion of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore's birth anniversary. Smt. Renu Hussain, renowned author of 'Gunti', 'Ghar Ki Auratein Aur Chand', 'Chita Ki Aag' and many other literary works, attended the event as the chief guest and the students beautifully presented reviews of her books. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. K.N. Along with Singh, Controller of Examinations Dr. Shantigopal Pain, Dean of School of Earth, Biological and Environmental Sciences Prof. Rizwanul Haque, President of Heritage Club Dr. Amrita Srivastava, Dr. Sujit Kumar along with professors, students, officers and staff of various departments were present.

In her address, Mrs. Renu Hussain expressed her gratitude to Vice Chancellor Prof. K.N. Singh for inviting her on Tagore Jayanti. In her address, Renu Hussain remembered Gurudev, shared about her writing technique and also recited her own ghazals. She said that the greatness of Ravindranath ji cannot be described in a few words. We have been reading the story of Ravindra ji's Kabuliwala since childhood, on which a film was made, along with this, films were also made on his other works and his works are alive in India as well as in the whole world. We have Rabindra Sangeet like a heritage which influences us. There is a philosophicalness in his poems, his writings, stories and plays due to which he also received the Nobel Prize in Literature.

In his presidential address, Vice Chancellor Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh said that one should have access, grasp and penetration to understand literature. Praising the chief guest, he said that his poems reflect human sensitivity, love and sacrifice, which makes his creations unique. Also, praising the book review students of the university, he said that these students are rich in talent. 

Earlier the program started with the welcome speech of Dr. Shantigopal Pain in which he welcomed the chief guest Mrs. Renu Hussain and shared aspects related to the life of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore. After this, Dr. Anindya Deb, Assistant Professor, Media Department, remembering Gurudev, recited a poem written by Rabindranath Tagore, and also told about the achievements and struggles of Gurudev. Further, the students of the university presented reviews of Renu Hussain's books. Rishabh Jha, a student of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, reviewed her book "Jaise", Rahul Mishra reviewed "Paani Pyar", Farheen Bano reviewed "Main Hoon Muntazir Tere Vaaste", Purushottam Upadhyay reviewed "Ghar Ki Auraten Aur Chand" and Priyanka Kumari reviewed "Gunthi". Rishabh Jha praised the writing style of the author and said that every poem written in the book acts as a mirror of a human emotion. Rahul Mishra said, "There is a touching feeling in the poems written in the book". The program was hosted by the President of Heritage Club, Dr. Amrita Srivastava (Assistant Professor, Life Science), while the vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Sujit Kumar (Assistant Professor, Media Department).

सीयूएसबी में रवींद्रनाथ टैगोर जयंती पर प्रख्यात लेखिका श्रीमती रेणु हुसैन की पुस्तकों की समीक्षा

लेखन एकांत में भावनाओं को व्यक्त करने की कला है, श्रीमती रेणु हुसैन

दक्षिण बिहार केंद्रीय विश्वविद्यालय (सीयूएसबी) के कुलपति प्रो. कामेश्वर नाथ सिंह द्वारा परिसर में विकसित बहुआयामी शैक्षिक विकास की दृष्टि से प्रेरित होकर, गुरुदेव रवींद्रनाथ टैगोर की जयंती के अवसर पर विश्वविद्यालय के स्पिक-मैके हेरिटेज क्लब और पुनर्जागरण छात्र अध्ययन मंडल द्वारा एक विशेष साहित्यिक कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। 'गुंटी', 'घर की औरतें और चांद', 'चिता की आग' और कई अन्य साहित्यिक कृतियों की प्रसिद्ध लेखिका श्रीमती रेणु हुसैन इस कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में शामिल हुईं और छात्रों ने उनकी पुस्तकों की सुंदर समीक्षा प्रस्तुत की। इस अवसर पर कुलपति प्रो. के.एन. सिंह के साथ परीक्षा नियंत्रक डॉ. शांति गोपाल पाइन, स्कूल ऑफ अर्थ, बायोलॉजिकल एंड एनवायरमेंटल साइंसेज के डीन प्रो. रिजवानुल हक, हेरिटेज क्लब की अध्यक्ष डॉ. अमृता श्रीवास्तव, डॉ. सुजीत कुमार सहित विभिन्न विभागों के प्रोफेसर, छात्र, अधिकारी व कर्मचारी मौजूद थे।

अपने संबोधन में श्रीमती रेणु हुसैन ने कुलपति प्रो. के.एन. सिंह को टैगोर जयंती पर आमंत्रित करने के लिए आभार व्यक्त किया। अपने संबोधन में रेणु हुसैन ने गुरुदेव को याद किया, उनकी लेखन तकनीक के बारे में बताया और अपनी गजलें भी सुनाईं। उन्होंने कहा कि रविंद्रनाथ जी की महानता को चंद शब्दों में बयां नहीं किया जा सकता। हम बचपन से ही रविंद्र जी की काबुलीवाला की कहानी पढ़ते आ रहे हैं, जिस पर फिल्म भी बनी थी, इसके साथ ही उनकी अन्य रचनाओं पर भी फिल्में बनीं और उनकी रचनाएं भारत के साथ-साथ पूरे विश्व में जीवित हैं। हमारे पास रवींद्र संगीत जैसी विरासत है जो हमें प्रभावित करती है। उनकी कविताओं, उनके लेखन, कहानियों और नाटकों में एक दार्शनिकता है जिसके कारण उन्हें साहित्य का नोबेल पुरस्कार भी मिला। कुलपति प्रो. कामेश्वर नाथ सिंह ने अपने अध्यक्षीय संबोधन में कहा कि साहित्य को समझने के लिए व्यक्ति के पास पहुंच, पकड़ और पैठ होनी चाहिए। उन्होंने मुख्य अतिथि की प्रशंसा करते हुए कहा कि उनकी कविताओं में मानवीय संवेदना, प्रेम और त्याग झलकता है, जो उनकी रचनाओं को अद्वितीय बनाता है। साथ ही उन्होंने विश्वविद्यालय के पुस्तक समीक्षा छात्रों की प्रशंसा करते हुए कहा कि ये छात्र प्रतिभा के धनी हैं।

इससे पहले कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत डॉ. शांति गोपाल पेन के स्वागत भाषण से हुई जिसमें उन्होंने मुख्य अतिथि श्रीमती रेणु हुसैन का स्वागत किया और गुरुदेव रवींद्रनाथ टैगोर के जीवन से जुड़े पहलुओं को साझा किया। इसके बाद मीडिया विभाग के सहायक प्रोफेसर डॉ. अनिंद्य देब ने गुरुदेव को याद करते हुए रवींद्रनाथ टैगोर द्वारा लिखी गई कविता सुनाई और गुरुदेव की उपलब्धियों और संघर्षों के बारे में भी बताया। आगे विश्वविद्यालय के छात्रों ने रेणु हुसैन की पुस्तकों की समीक्षा प्रस्तुत की। पत्रकारिता एवं जनसंचार विभाग के छात्र ऋषभ झा ने उनकी पुस्तक "जैसे" की समीक्षा की, राहुल मिश्रा ने "पानी प्यार" की समीक्षा की, फरहीन बानो ने "मैं हूँ मुंतज़िर तेरे वास्ते" की समीक्षा की, पुरुषोत्तम उपाध्याय ने "घर की औरतें और चाँद" की समीक्षा की तथा प्रियंका कुमारी ने "गुंठी" की समीक्षा की। ऋषभ झा ने लेखक की लेखन शैली की प्रशंसा की तथा कहा कि पुस्तक में लिखी गई प्रत्येक कविता मानवीय भावनाओं के दर्पण का काम करती है। राहुल मिश्रा ने कहा कि पुस्तक में लिखी गई कविताओं में मार्मिक अनुभूति है। कार्यक्रम का संचालन हेरिटेज क्लब की अध्यक्ष डॉ. अमृता श्रीवास्तव (असिस्टेंट प्रोफेसर, लाइफ साइंस) ने किया, जबकि धन्यवाद ज्ञापन डॉ. सुजीत कुमार (असिस्टेंट प्रोफेसर, मीडिया विभाग) ने किया।
