29 students of CUSB get placement with Azim Premji Foundation at an initial package of Rs. 4.56 Lakh per annum

A record 29 (twenty-nine) students from different departments of Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) got job offers from prestigious Azim Premji Foundation through the placement drive conducted at campus. CUSB Public Relation Officer (PRO) cum Placement Coordinator Mohammad Mudassir Alam said that the placement drive was conducted at University campus this past week during April 30, May 01 & 02, 2025. A total of 87 students appeared in the final round interview out of which 29 (twenty-nine) PG final year students got the job offers. The job for the position of Assistant Research Associate is offered at the initial package of Rs. 4.56 lakh per annum along with other additional benefits like medical assistance, relocation expense, insurance free loan, group term life insurance, etc. Even in the previous years, many students of CUSB have got placement with the foundation and they are holding key positions, added the PRO. The placement drive was conducted under the supervision of Mr. Mohammad Muzaffar, People Function, HR team Azim Premji Foundation along with his colleagues Mr. Kailash Kandpal, Mr. Rakesh Tewary, Mr. Rajib Das, Mr. Paresh Pandya, Mr. Rajesh Sharma, Mr. Priyank Srivastava and Mr. Yerram Mahesh.

From the Department of Political Science, a maximum of seven students have been given the job offer that includes Atul Pathak, Gopal Kumar, Chetna Venu, Saumya Tomar, Dandu Roopa Sri, Vishal Anand and Suraj Kumar Sharma. Four M.Sc. Mathematics programme students namely Ankita Kumari, Fahmi Ansari, Pallavi Singh and Ranjan Kumar have got the job opportunity. MA Hindi students Aashish Kumar, Vishal Kumar and Beauty Kumari have been placed with Azim Premji Foundation. Three MA English students Shaja Shahab, Dhanasree S and Muskan Gupta are successful students to grab the opportunity. Other students to get the job opportunity as research associate are Halima Sadia (Psychology), Aritra Kundu (Biotechnology), Abhishek (Economics), Anantya Anand (Economics), Buddhadeb Paul (Geography), Yuvraj Sinha (Geography), Abhilipsa Panda (Geology), Shatakshi (History), Imran Nazir (History), Abhay Kumar (Social Work), Aliya Arfin (Social Work) and Puja Chowdhary (Sociology).

CUSB Vice-Chancellor Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh, Registrar Prof. Narendra Kumar Rana, Placement Chairperson Prof. Atish Prashar, members of placement cell and faculty members of respective departments congratulated the finally selected students. VC Prof. K. N. Singh said that it is a matter of happiness for the entire University fraternity and it would surely encourage other students as well. Since Azim Premji Foundation is a prestigious organisation, hence, the growth-prospects for students are bright. The successful students expressed their gratitude towards the placement cell for bringing the opportunity at their door even before getting their degrees.
