Nishi Srivastava, a research scholar from Psychology Department of CUSB participated in IPPA World Congress 2025 in Australia
Nishi Srivastava, a research scholar at the Department of Psychological Sciences of Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) represented the University on the global academic stage at the recently concluded International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA) World Congress 2025 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, Queensland, Australia during July 02-05, 2025. On this remarkable achievement CUSB Vice-Chancellor Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh, Registrar Prof. Narendra Kumar Rana congratulated Nishi and her mentor along with Prof. Dharmendra Kumar Singh, Head, and Prof. Manglesh Kumar Mangalam, Dean of the School and other faculty members.

Under the mentorship of Dr. Chetna Jaiswal, Assistant Professor, Psychology research scholar Nishi Srivastava, presented their research papers at this prestigious international platform, joining eminent psychologists, researchers, and mental health professionals from across the globe. Among these scholars, Nishi Srivastava made notable achievements. She was selected in the top 100 worldwide for the IPPA Scholarship Program, which included a full registration fee waiver for the World Congress. Her research paper, titled "Beyond Limits: Disability, Discrimination, and the Transformative Power of Positive Psychology," explored critical themes such as psychological resilience, social inclusion, and the policy implications for disability support systems. In addition to presenting her paper, Nishi was also appointed as the Chairperson for a session titled "Positive Psychology in Varied Contexts (Society/Community/Cross Cultural)," where she successfully moderated the session, introduced speakers, and facilitated interactive discussions with an international audience. Adding to her list of accomplishments, Nishi Srivastava was also awarded the prestigious ICSSR Travel Grant, receiving full reimbursement for her academic trip to Australia. This grant, offered by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), is highly competitive and recognizes the academic merit and global potential of Indian scholars.
