CUSB Students crack CSIR NET-JRF December 2025 Examination
Several students from various departments of the Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) have excelled in the national-level CSIR NET-JRF December 2025 examination. The result was declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA) this past week. CUSB Vice-Chancellor Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh, along with Registrar Prof. Narendra Kumar Rana, the Deans of various Schools, Heads of Departments, and faculty members, have extended their congratulations and best wishes to the students on their success. Public Relation Officer (PRO) Mohammad Mudassir Alam stated a total of five students from the Department of Biotechnology achieved success in this national-level eligibility test. Abhitej Kumar Jha brought laurels to both the department and the university by securing the 131st All India Rank (AIR) in the examination. Meanwhile, M.Sc. Biotechnology students Sanish Kumar, Pritikana Mallick, Nisha, and Sibsankar Mallick have qualified specifically for admission into the Ph.D. programme. Prof. Rakesh Kumar, Head, Biotechnology along with other faculty members Prof. Durg Vijai Singh, Prof. Rizwanul Haque, Dr. Nitish Kumar, Dr. Krishna Prakash, Dr. Jawaid Ahsan, and Dr. Pratishtha Sonkar, congratulated the students on this achievement. Three students from the Department of Chemistry have qualified in the examination. Ashutosh Dey delivered an outstanding performance at the All India level by securing the 9th rank, while Arnab Patra and Rajneesh Patel secured the 78th and 81st All India Ranks, respectively.
Head & Dean Prof. Atul Pratap Singh, along with Prof. Amiya Priyam, Dr. Jagannath Roy, Dr. Girish Chandra, Dr. Angad Kumar Singh, Dr. Mahendra Khatrawat, Dr. Mouni Roy, and Dr. Saptarshi Ghosh congratulated the successful students. Rudra Narayan Patnaik, a student of the Department of Geology, has qualified for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). Additionally, Manish Kumar, a student of the Department of Geography, has qualified for the position of Assistant Professor in the UGC NET December 2025 examination. In the UGC NET December 2025 examination, Dhananjay Rao Dabbareddy from the Department of Statistics qualified for the Junior Research Fellowship, while Ashish Raj, Akanksha Upadhyay, and Virat Pratap cleared the NET examination and qualified for the post of Assistant Professor. Four other students from the department, namely Aman Verma, Seema Kumari, Deepak Dhayal, and Deepika Bharti have qualified for admission to the Ph.D. programme.
