Under the mentorship of the Prof. K Shiv Shankar students were given hands-on experience with Electronic News Gathering (ENG) cameras, teleprompters, and professional microphones. The training also delved deep into post-production, where students mastered various editing softwares to weave raw footage into cohesive stories. The culmination of this rigorous training was witnessed today, March 17, during the official screening of the bulletins at the department’s media lab. Prof. Dr. K. Shiva Shankar expressed his delight at the quality of the productions, noting that the bulletins displayed a high level of technical finesse and journalistic integrity. "The output we see today is a testament to the hard work of our students and the effectiveness of this workshop. It is heartening to see our students ready for the challenges of the modern media landscape," the HOD remarked while addressing the gathering. The event concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony, where Prof. Shankar personally congratulated the participants.
